A Bit of Dress History
A dress can be used in many different situations, prom, job interview, first date, even a red carpet event if you’re lucky.
The oldest dress, that we know of, is the Tarkhan Dress. It was made and worn over 5000 years ago in Egypt! As you can see the dress is very much a part of human history.
We’ve evolved since then and the dress evolved with us; in the 19th century great leaps in clothing inventions such as elastics and zip have allowed it to keep pace.
